do they put the entire roster on the stanley cup?

I have heard they put names on the stanley cup for the winning team. I always wondered how this works. Do they just put certain names on the cup, captains, coaches, assistant captains, goalies or does everyone on the given roster go on the cup? how do they fit all of those names and if so, 50 years from now, wont they run out of room? is the type small? thank you!

They put the whole roster…
every year thy retired a team and take off the oldest roster and put on a new oone.

The roster are put on pieces of metal that are detachable.. so when they are retired they get hung up in the hockey hall of fame

Help with difference between Morgan Stanley and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney?

I inherited $20K recently and all the funds are in stocks with Morgan Stanley, in order for me to obtain these funds I need to open up a Morgan Stanley account and transfer the $. The only financial institution I can find locally is Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, would this work for the transfer? Thx for any help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lathe question: Should I use a live or dead center for turning spindles?

I have an old craftsman lathe. This center would be going into the tailstock side. I kinda feel like I need a live center. But I seem to remember that my school’s lathe had a tailstock center with the four teeth on it, and I cant find a live center with four teeth. Am I missing something? Thanks all.

Geez, without seeing your lathe…
I made some candle holders back in shop class. (Years ago; back when mastodons roamed the Earth).

I seem to remember that your live center only needs the teeth on large spin stock. You could use a live center w/a chuck smaller items.

So, facing your lathe, with the drive/motor on the left… you need the teeth driven into the center of your spin stock, on the left, as this keeps it from slipping when you start using your awl/ chipper to work the wood.

On the right side, end; you only need an idler point in the center.

A dead center would possibly get too hot from friction and start a fire like a Boy Scout.

what software is the easiest to use to transfer digital tape to a computer?

I want to be able to edit, add music and titles and also to burn a DVD. I am not technically blessed, so I do need software that is easy to use. A friend suggested I buy a ‘video digitizing package’ which will contain both hardware and software.

What kind of electric drill should I buy?

My husband mentioned that he wants an electric drill and I want to surprise him with one for his birthday, but I have no knowledge about tools. I know he has a lot of Craftsman tools, are those better or not as good as DeWalt? Is there something better than both of those? Also, do I want a 3/8 or 1/2 or something altogether different? I am lost.

He works on cars a lot, and also does our home repairs, so those are mainly what this drill would be used for. Thank you in advance.

I have both and I think I lean more towards the DeWalt for durability and functions. I would recommend a 1/2" variable speed, reversible drill. Half inch will give you the capability to use a far larger selection of drill bits, variable speeds will give you the capacity to use your drill for a wider variety of projects, and a reversible drill for car guys is a must, especially good for using easy outs to remove broken bolts. GOOD LUCK AND I’M SURE HE WILL BE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. (May I suggest a nice set of drill bits to complete the ensemble!)
