How do the Stanley Cup Playoffs work?
Isn’t a series seven games long and whoever wins that advances? Is that how it goes until it’s down to the last two teams and then they play one game for the cup?

also after every round they re-seed the teams so that the highest seed vs. the lowest seed (Montreal #1 vs. Philly #6)(Detroit #1 vs. Colorado #6) and the other 2 vs. eachother (Pittsburgh #2 vs. NY rangers #5)(San Jose #2 vs. Dallas #5) they do that instead of following the bracket into round 2 like they do in basketball!
Has anybody ever worked for Stanley Steamer carpet cleaners?
My friend might be getting me a job with them and I’m just wondering what kind of work to expect and how the people are to work with? I’m not afraid of hard work or anything like that I just kind of want an idea of what your day consists of and how may might be and anything someone may want to know. I’m from New Jersey if location makes a difference.
I had a friend who worked for a similar local company. Hard work is right. Usually people call in professionals when a job is too hard to do themselves. They also expect miraculous results. you can’t clean worn out carpeting and expect it to look new, but people do expect that. You will often work in filthy homes in hot, sweaty conditions as well.
He did it for years, so it’s tolerable, but don’t expect it to look like the commercials!
How do you get a chuck off a lathe?
I just bought an older lathe, and I need to take the chuck off, but don’t know how. It’s been a while since I’ve used a lathe, but I think you’re supposed to put a long pipe/rod into the hole on the other side of the chuck and tap it with a hammer until it comes out. I’m not sure, though, and I don’t want to break it. Any help?
Jacob, you’re absolutely correct. Apparently it hasn’t been THAT long ago that you forgot. It’s a tapered shaft, so it won’t have any threads to grab.

for around the house i have the ryobi kit with a mini skill saw, jig saw, sander, flash light, drill and vacuume. forgot the kit no. but it was on sale at lowes for a really great price. came with 2 18v batteries and charger and carrying bag as well as blades for both saws and some bits. screw bits as well as some drilling bits.
the 18v gives it power and stays charged for a decent amount of time. sound like a sales man i know, but ive had it for bout two years and have had no problems.

I need to replace the chuck on my drill and can’t get the thing off.
There is usually a screw inside the chuck that needs to be released. It needs to be turned clockwise to release it.
